TOURnament June 2023

We are glad to announce that the second 2023 Ping Pong Tournament is happening on the 17th of June from 1pm to 3pm. 🏓🚀✨

You don´t need to be a pro, just bring your enthusiasm. We will be playing singles and everyone is welcome.

AWARD🏆: 1st and 2nd place will share together a 30min coach session and will get two free tickets each for one ping pong slot, one for yourself and another to bring a friend. 

We will hold 2 tables for the regular activities so you can still buy the normal tickets.

We will use the "Fast Swiss Tournament System":

• All players will be placed in a single group, as in a round-robin system.
• You will play not with everyone, but only with those showing comparable level of skill (the number of matches is predetermined and will be announced at the start of the tournament).
• Your rank will be determined not by the number of wins, but by a topological sorting — a more equitable algorithm. In short, you are likely to be ranked higher than everyone you have defeated, and lower than everyone to whom you have lost.

Car: you can park outside.

Uber: type "Rua Silva e Albuquerque, 25, 1700-349 Lisbon" and the school entrance is in front of that building.

Underground: leave “Roma” or “Alvalade” station at the green line. It's a 5 min walk.

Bus: lines 767, 735, 736, 744, 783, 750, 727 leave you nearby.
